the kingdom hearts 2 opening movie had no business being as good as it was. the music. the visuals. the part where utada goes “my hearts a battleground” while sora donald and goofy fight heartless in castle oblivion and i could feel my soul leave my body and ascend to a higher plane of existence. twelve years later and it still owns my ass.

I can’t believe Spider-Man defeated not one but TWO Disney films and grabbed the Golden Globe

Oh my goodness I’m so happy *ugly sobbing*

People don’t understand why this is a big deal.

Disney has a stranglehold on animation. Ya’ll remember when Frozen came out? Well when it won the Oscar for best-animated film, it was revealed that the people voting didn’t watch any of the other films. Frozen only won because of it’s brand name. For Spiderverse to defeat two Disney films is big because not only does it prove that animated movies feature people of color can be successful but it’s also showing that other animation companies have a chance.

genuinely this opens a larger conversation about how child abuse is normalized amongst poc and how many poc deal with our traumatic childhoods and parents’ trauma with humor because we’re scared to inform white psychiatrists/doctors/friends of our issues lest they call fuckin ice OR judge us as “savages” and confirm anti-brown stereotypes but what’s more interesting is that that’s a very personal and emotional labory explanation I don’t owe to literally any person ever especially whites. its funny how that works isn’t it. no I dont think its funny @ my last dumb ass anon. but I also dont owe anyone shit. latinxs get it and its not your place ever to tell us how to process shit you dont understand

I should posted this work a long time ago.

A metaphor for the emergence of Blight.

I really love the Dragon Age series, but most of all the first game. With an atmosphere of hopelessness, pestilence and faith in the best and the possibility of redemption before the Maker. Hopefully, in the next parts, we will return and Blight, and Archdemons, and Magisters, and the legend of the Golden City and the Maker.
